Penny Fuller has just appeared in Horton Foote’s DIVIDING THE ESTATE for Primary stages where last year she starred in SOUTHERN COMFORTS. Her Broadway career began with BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, CABARET, REX, and APPLAUSE (Tony nomination). After many years in California performing in dozens of plays, being a founding member of two theatre companies, appearing in numerous TV shows, garnering 6 Emmy nominations and winning for THE ELEPHANT MAN, she returned to New York in 1995 to do two plays at the Manhattan Theatre Club; Lincoln Center then chose her for A NEW BRAIN. In 2001 she received a Tony nomination for Neil Simon’s THE DINNER PARTY. For the past three years she has been teacher and associate artist at the O’Neill Cabaret Convention where she developed her own cabaret shows (directed by Barry Kleinbort) which have been seen in New York at Birdland and the Metropolitan Room.
