ANTHONY F. JAHN, M.D.

 

Dr Jahn is an otolaryngologist with offices in New York City and New Jersey. He has a special interest in the care of the professional voice. He holds academic appointments as Professor at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is also Adjunct Professor of Neurosciences at Rutgers University (Newark) and Adjunct Professor of Vocal Pedagogy, Westminster Choir College (Princeton).

 

He is a consulting otolaryngologist for The Julliard School, Westminster Choir College and The Royal Shakespeare Company (North American Tour). He Is also medical director of The Metropolitan Opera, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

 

Dr. Jahn has authored over 90 scientific publications (chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals), including two editions of Physiology of the Ear (with J. Santos-Sacchi), an Atlas of Ear Diseases (with Michael Hawke), and two editions of Care of the Professional Voice (with Garfield Davies). Dr. Jahn contributes a monthly medical column on voice care to Classical Singer Magazine.
